Overview

The Lur-Panzer is a .22 Long Rifle rimfire pistol produced in the late 1960s by Echave y Arizmendi S.A. (ECHASA) of Eibar, Spain. Styled as an almost exact copy of the German Luger with its distinctive toggle-action outline, it differs from the original in its simplified trigger assembly and lighter mainspring, and was marked "Lur Cal.22 LR Made in Spain" with plastic grips bearing the molded word "Panzer". It was produced largely for export to the North American market until the ECHASA factory closed in 1969.
