Overview

The Ed Brown Executive Commander is a semi-automatic, single-action 1911-pattern pistol chambered in .45 ACP. Introduced in 2018, it pairs a full-size single-stack Government frame with a shortened Commander-length 4.25-inch slide and barrel, blending full-grip control with reduced slide mass for carry. Built entirely from stainless steel, it features 25 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing, a French border, ball endmill cuts, a flattened and serrated slide top, a plain black rear sight, and a gold-bead front sight.
