Overview

The Ed Brown FX2 is a hand-built, Commander-length 1911 semi-automatic pistol designed for concealed carry and personal defense. Introduced in 2020, it was among the first production 1911s to ship with a factory-mounted Trijicon RMRcc miniature red dot sight, paired with Ed Brown's co-witnessing iron sights. It uses a bobtail steel frame with a Snakeskin-textured frontstrap and mainspring housing, G10 grips, and a single-action trigger, and is chambered in 9mm or .45 ACP.
