Overview
The Edgun Matador R5M is a Russian pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) bullpup air rifle offered in .177 (4.5mm), .22 (5.5mm) and .25 (6.35mm), built around Eduard Gafarov's long-running Matador platform. A regulated, multi-shot repeater, it feeds from a 9- or 10-shot rotary magazine, cocks via a double-sided forward lever, and runs on a removable 250cc (Standard) or 323cc air cylinder filled to 300 bar. A fully shrouded barrel with integrated air stripper, an adjustable two-stage trigger, adjustable hammer spring, and an ambidextrous walnut or synthetic thumbhole stock make it a refined, highly accurate platform for pest control and hunting.

Background
Edgun was founded by Russian airgunsmith Eduard Gafarov, whose forename gives the brand its 'Ed' prefix. The Matador series, refined across the R3, R3M, R5 and R5M generations, earned a reputation among precision airgun hunters for its regulated action, forward-reaching ambidextrous cocking lever, and bullpup compactness.
