Also known as: Hatsan Escort Raider, Escort HERD12
Overview
The Escort Raider is a Turkish gas-operated semi-automatic tactical shotgun produced by Hatsan Arms under its Escort brand. Introduced in 2019, it adapts the established Escort semi-auto platform to a detachable box-magazine feed system in place of a conventional tube magazine. It is chambered in 12 gauge with a 3-inch chamber and uses Hatsan's Smart Valve self-regulating gas piston to reliably cycle both 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells without manual adjustment. The Raider features an aluminum-alloy receiver, an 18-inch cylinder-bore barrel, a pistol grip, ghost-ring and fiber-optic sights, and integral Picatinny rails for accessories, marketing it toward home defense, law enforcement, and practical shooting.
