Overview
The Escort SDX12 is a magazine-fed, gas-operated semi-automatic tactical shotgun feeding from detachable box magazines. Its self-regulating SMART Valve Piston will mix heavy and light loads in the same magazine without a hiccup, cycling 2 3/4-inch and 3-inch shells. The 18-inch chrome-plated barrel, alloy upper with synthetic lower, ThermoDefend heat-shielding forend, reversible charging handle, and detachable carry handle with rear sight make it a versatile home-defense and tactical platform. It ships with two five-round magazines and a two-round magazine that stows in the stock. A .410 sibling (SDX410) shares the layout.
