Overview

The F-1 Firearms BDR-10 (current designation BDRX-10) is the company's large-frame .308 Winchester AR-10, built on F-1's skeletonized 7075-T6511 billet receiver set in the DPMS/SR-25 high-profile pattern. It carries the same machined-from-billet skeletonization, scalloped Picatinny rail, 60-degree beveled magwell, and matching skeletonized free-float M-LOK handguard (X7M family) that define the brand. The most common configuration is a 16-inch match-grade stainless barrel with a rifle-length gas system, low-profile gas block, F-1 compensating muzzle brake, and a 7.62 nickel-boron Durabolt bolt carrier group, feeding from DPMS-pattern .308 magazines. 18- and 20-inch barrel options are offered for longer-range use, and F-1 advertises sub-MOA accuracy.

Offered in numerous premium anodized and Cerakote finishes (Galaxy, Freedom Fade splash, Nighthawk Camo, Steampunk special editions). MSRP for complete rifles roughly $2,200-$3,000 depending on configuration and finish. The BDR-10 name has been superseded by BDRX-10 in current catalogs.

Background

F-1 Firearms brought its signature spider-web billet skeletonization to the large-frame AR market with the BDR-10, giving the .308 platform the same artisan-machined aesthetic and weight-saving cuts as its AR-15 line.
