Overview
The Fabarm Gamma is a 12-gauge over/under boxlock break-action shotgun built by Fabbrica Bresciana di Armi (Fabarm) of Brescia, Italy. Aimed at game and clay shooters, it is a light, fast-handling double gun fitted with a single selective trigger, automatic ejectors and 3-inch magnum chambers, and was offered with either fixed (full and half) or multi-choke barrels of roughly 28 to 29 inches. It was also produced in a 20-gauge chambering.

Specifications reflect a typical 12-gauge example with a 28-inch (711 mm) barrel; barrel length, weight and stock dimensions vary between individual guns. A later Gamma 2 was also offered.
Background
Fabarm derives its name from Fabbrica Bresciana di Armi, the Arms Factory of Brescia, the historic centre of Italian gunmaking. After the Second World War the firm built classically styled side-by-side and over/under shotguns, of which the Gamma is one of the field-grade over/under models.
