FABARM XLR5 Velocity AR
FABARM (Fabbrica Bresciana Armi) · Shotgun · In Production · 2013
Also known as: FABARM XLR5 Velocity Adjustable Rib, XLR5 AR
Overview
The FABARM XLR5 Velocity AR is a 12-gauge gas-operated semi-automatic sporting shotgun built by the Italian maker FABARM (Fabbrica Bresciana Armi). It is the adjustable-rib (AR) competition-clays flagship of the XLR5 family, distinguished by a raised, adjustable rib that lets the shooter build a more upright shooting profile for faster target acquisition. It combines FABARM's Pulse Piston gas system, driven by a heavy stainless-steel piston, with the over-bored TriBore HP barrel that uses a long forcing cone and internal taper to improve patterns and pellet velocity while cutting felt recoil. The 2 3/4"-chambered gun ships with a hand-oiled Turkish walnut stock with adjustable comb, an integrated recoil reducer, a weight-adjustable magazine cap and five EXIS HP competition choke tubes.
