Overview

The FAIR Iside Prestige is an Italian side-by-side boxlock break-action hunting shotgun built by Fabbrica Armi Isidoro Rizzini in the Val Trompia district of Brescia. Offered in 12, 16, 20, 28 gauge and .410 bore, its Iside-project round-body action reduces weight and section dimensions while retaining slender rounded side plates. The gun features automatic ejectors, a single selective (MS) trigger, the TC XP50 interchangeable choke set, and a selected walnut stock; the base Iside Prestige carries a chromed action, while the Tartaruga Gold version adds a colour-hardened action with gold inlays and a wooden butt plate.

Background

The Iside line is named after Isis, the Egyptian goddess, continuing F.A.I.R.'s tradition of Egyptian-themed model names; the 'Iside project' redesigned the classic side-by-side action to be lighter and slimmer than earlier boxlocks.
