Overview
The FAS 604 is a single-stroke pneumatic 10-metre match air pistol built by the Italian target-gun maker Fabbrica Armi Sportive (FAS). Charged by a single stroke of the under-lever, it fires a .177 (4.5mm) lead pellet from a breech-loaded single-shot chamber, and is purpose-built for ISSF 10m Air Pistol competition. It carries a fully adjustable two-stage match trigger, micro-adjustable target sights on a long sight radius, and an anatomically carved hardwood grip. Handmade in small numbers, the 604 earned a reputation as a precise and reliable competition pistol, and its design later evolved into the FAS 6004 sold under the Chiappa Firearms brand.
