Overview
The Fausti DEA is an Italian side-by-side, break-action shotgun built by the family-owned Fausti firm of the Val Trompia gunmaking district near Brescia. It uses a box-lock action housed in a solid-steel receiver machined and scaled to each gauge, and feeds from horizontally paired barrels. Buyers can specify a selective single or double trigger and either automatic ejectors or manual extraction, with fixed or interchangeable choke tubes. Finished in color case-hardening or old silver with gold-inlaid floral and game-scene engraving on oil-finished walnut, it is offered as a traditional upland and field gun in 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge as well as .410 bore.
