Overview

The Faxon Sentinel is an AR-10-pattern rifle chambered in the hard-hitting, suppressor-optimized 8.6 Blackout cartridge, part of Faxon Firearms' Summit Line. Built for durability and big-bore subsonic performance, the 16-inch rifle weighs about 9.33 pounds and centers on Faxon's headline 1:3 twist Modified Big Gunner-profile barrel - an extremely fast twist tuned to stabilize the heavy subsonic projectiles 8.6 Blackout was designed around. It features a billet aluminum receiver set, a carbine-length gas system, a G3 Aluminum Streamline M-LOK handguard, Faxon's MuzzLok 8.6 BLK 3-port muzzle brake, a B5 Precision collapsible stock, and a Hiperfire EDTDM single-stage trigger. A 12-inch braced pistol variant is also offered. Essentially a .338-bore, AR-10-sized counterpart to 300 Blackout, the Sentinel excels as a suppressed hunting and defensive platform.
