Overview
The Faxon Sport is the entry tier of Faxon Firearms' modern sporting rifle lineup, an AR-15 carbine built to deliver Faxon's barrel pedigree at the most accessible price point. The 16-inch model uses Faxon's Duty Series SOCOM-profile barrel with a 1:8 twist and black nitride finish, a mid-length gas system, and a free-floating Faxon Streamline 13-inch M-LOK handguard. Forged aluminum upper and lower receivers, a superfinished nitrided M16-profile bolt carrier group, mil-spec controls and furniture, and a 1/2x28 A2 flash hider round out the package. The Sport family spans multiple chamberings and configurations - 5.56 NATO rifles and pistols, a 300 Blackout pistol, a 350 Legend rifle, and a 9mm pistol-caliber-carbine variant - making it a flexible, value-focused do-it-all platform.
