Flux Defense Raider
Flux Defense · Personal Defense Weapon · In Production · 2019
Also known as: Flux Brace, Flux MP17
Overview
The Flux Defense Raider is a compact 9x19mm brace-equipped personal-defense system built around a host Glock pistol, turning a standard striker-fired Glock into a stabilized, shoulderable PDW. Flux Defense's signature design is a spring-loaded, switchblade-style brace that auto-deploys via a right-side lever within trigger-finger reach and collapses flush against the frame so the package remains holsterable. It installs onto a Gen4/Gen5 Glock through the trigger-group takedown pin without gunsmithing, retaining the host Glock's barrel, short-recoil locked-breech action, and Glock-pattern magazine feed (17- or 33-round). The Raider name spans Flux's broader chassis line, which also includes dedicated chassis for the SIG Sauer P320 (Raider X) and P365 (Raider 365).

Notes
Product-identity caveat: as researched (June 2026), Flux Defense's shipping 9x19mm Glock-fed product is the auto-deploying Flux Brace for Glock (introduced 2019, ~224 g brace alone, +38 mm collapsed, MSRP ~$259); a dedicated Glock Raider chassis was announced but had no release date. The fully assembled Raider chassis line (Raider X, Raider 365, MP17 Raider) ships for SIG Sauer P320/P365 hosts. Physical dimensions, weight, and muzzle velocity of a complete Glock-host weapon depend on the chosen Glock model and were not published as standalone product specs; barrel length shown reflects a Glock 17 host (114 mm). Fits Gen4/Gen5 Glock models including G17, G17L, G19/19X, G22, G31, G34, G35. Not rated for +P/+P+.
Background
Flux Defense's debut product was a holsterable, switchblade-style spring-loaded brace for the Glock - a brace you could draw from a holster and shoulder in one motion. The lessons from that 2019 design drove the MP17 and the SIG-based Raider chassis line that followed.
