Overview
The FM Products Ranch Rifle ISU-556 G2 is a second-generation integrally suppressed 5.56 NATO semi-automatic carbine built on a monolithic billet aluminum upper receiver. Its defining feature is a one-piece barrel that integrates the barrel, gas block and barrel extension with a permanently attached suppressor, so the complete rifle requires only a single tax stamp rather than separating into a regulated short barrel and suppressor. The integral suppressor uses a 1.5-inch seamless 316 stainless steel outer tube over precision-machined 17-4 stainless baffles, with a high-temperature silicone heat wrap and a 17-7 alignment spring. A bufferless operating system houses the recoil spring entirely within the upper, allowing the use of folding stocks, and the rifle feeds from standard AR-15 magazines.

Notes
Bufferless integrally-suppressed upper receiver group; the 16.2-inch one-piece barrel keeps the rifle out of SBR classification while still suppressed. Muzzle velocity reported as exceeding 2,700 fps. Effective range and muzzle energy left null pending manufacturer ballistics. Manufacturer based in Boise, Idaho.
Background
By machining the barrel and suppressor as one inseparable piece, FM Products collapses what is normally two NFA items into a single registered firearm, sparing buyers a second federal tax stamp and wait.
