Overview
The Franklin Armory Prevail is a precision bolt-action rifle unveiled at SHOT Show 2026, built around the company's patent-pending Total Round Control (TRC) system that combines push-feed and controlled-round-feed behavior to manage the cartridge through every stage of the cycle. It uses interchangeable bolt heads (.378, .473 and .532 bolt faces) on a Remington 700 footprint, is Zermatt TL3/SR3 pre-fit barrel compatible, and feeds from AICS-pattern detachable magazines. The .308 Winchester model ships with a 24-inch barrel offered as either a carbon-fiber-wrapped carbon-ceramic Fidelis barrel or a fluted stainless sporter barrel.

Background
Better known for its AR-pattern designs and ATF 'Title 1' firearm-classification engineering, Franklin Armory marketed the Prevail as the 'world's first' Total Round Control bolt action, claiming it controls the cartridge through feeding, chambering, firing, extraction and ejection alike.
