Overview

The FX DRS is a regulated pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle introduced in 2023 by FX Airguns of Sweden. It pairs the AMP MkII adjustable regulator with a tactical plenum and FX's APB (Air Pressure Barrel) system, in which the barrel runs through the air cylinder for a low-profile, rigid layout. A reversible side-lever feeds a removable rotary magazine, and in .22 calibre it drives a 15.89-grain pellet to roughly 915 fps (279 m/s) for about 40 joules, with up to around 60 regulated shots per 230-bar fill. Offered in .177, .22, and .25 calibres with interchangeable barrel liners, it is aimed at airgun hunters and precision target shooters.

Background

FX Airguns was founded by Swedish airgun designer Fredrik Axelsson; the DRS (Dynamic Reduced Size) line packs the brand's modular, tool-tunable Impact-derived technology into a more compact, accessible PCP platform, with a Tactical variant built around an AR-15-inspired chassis.
