FX Gladiator MkII
FX Airguns AB · Rifle · Discontinued · 2016
Also known as: FX Gladiator Mk2, FX Gladiator MKII
Overview
The FX Gladiator MkII is a Swedish multi-shot, pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) air rifle produced by FX Airguns. A side-lever cocking design fed from a detachable rotary magazine, it pairs a large 400cc buddy bottle with a 145cc onboard cylinder for a very large air reserve, yielding well over 100 full-power shots per fill. The rifle uses FX's Smooth Twist barrel inside a full-length shroud for a quiet report, and offers adjustable power output, an adjustable two-stage match trigger and an ambidextrous two-part synthetic stock. It is offered in .177, .22 and .25 calibre.

Notes
Airgun, not a firearm. The MkII revised the .22 magazine to 12 shots (16 in .177, 10 in .25). Fill pressure is 220 bar and the combined bottle plus cylinder holds roughly 685cc. UK-market versions are limited to sub-12 ft-lbs; export/FAC versions produce higher energy up to roughly 34 ft-lbs (about 46 J) in .25.
Background
FX Airguns was founded in 1999 by Fredrik Axelsson in Sweden and became renowned for high-performance PCP airguns; the Gladiator was among the first FX bullpups to combine a buddy bottle and an onboard cylinder for an exceptionally large air supply.
