Overview
The Gamo Hunter 440 is a Spanish break-barrel, spring-piston air rifle offered chambered for .177 (4.5mm) pellets, with .22 and .25 versions also produced. A classic sporter-styled hunting air rifle, its single-cocking spring powerplant drives lightweight lead-free pellets to roughly 386 m/s (about 1,260 fps) for up to 24 joules of muzzle energy in .177. It pairs a checkered high-grade beechwood stock with a rifled steel barrel, fiber-optic front and adjustable rear open sights, an adjustable two-stage trigger, and an 11mm dovetail rail for scope mounting.
