Overview
The Glenfield Model A is a value-priced bolt-action hunting rifle introduced in 2026, reviving the historic Glenfield name (Marlin's former budget sub-brand) under Ruger ownership. Chambered in .308 Winchester, it features a 20-inch cold-hammer-forged threaded barrel, a one-piece three-lug bolt with a 70-degree throw, a user-adjustable 3-5 lb trigger, a power-bedding block, and a synthetic stock with a three-position tang safety. It ships optics-ready with a Picatinny scope base installed.

Background
Glenfield was Marlin's budget house brand from the 1960s through the 1980s, sold through department and hardware stores; Ruger - which acquired Marlin in 2020 - resurrected the name for an affordable hammer-forged bolt rifle built on the same line as its premium guns.
