Glock 19 Gen6
Glock Ges.m.b.H. · Pistol · In Production · 2026
Also known as: G19 Gen6, Glock 19 Gen 6
Overview
The Glock 19 Gen6 is the sixth generation of Glock's compact 9mm pistol, introduced in 2026. It carries forward the proven Glock 19 footprint while adding the new RTF6 dual-pattern grip texture, an enlarged beavertail for a higher grip, a standard flat-faced trigger, an undercut trigger guard, deeper angled slide serrations, and an enlarged slide-stop lever. Its headline upgrade is an integrated modular optic mount system that ships with multiple plates allowing Trijicon RMR-footprint red-dot sights to be mounted lower in the slide, acting as crush washers for a reduced bore axis.

Notes
Sixth-generation evolution of the Glock 19. The optics-ready slide and supplied adapter plates replace the separate MOS-only configuration of earlier generations. RTF6 texture extends to new thumb-rest zones. Weight reported by Glock around 22.6-23.7 oz empty depending on configuration.
Background
For the Gen6 Glock built the red-dot mount directly into the slide and shipped it with adapter plates that double as crush washers, letting an RMR-footprint optic sit deeper for a lower bore axis without a milled aftermarket cut.
