Notes

The Gen5 was announced at SHOT Show 2017 and initially launched without front slide serrations, which were added to later production runs (sometimes referred to as 'Gen5 FS'). The nDLC finish is significantly more durable than the previous Tenifer treatment. The Glock Marksman Barrel uses a more conventional rifling profile than earlier generations while maintaining polygonal characteristics. The Gen5 is slightly heavier than the Gen4 (630g vs 625g without magazine) and wider (34mm vs 32mm) due to the redesigned frame. Early Gen5 models had a half-moon cutout at the base of the grip which was later removed.
