Notes
Gen6 G19 launched alongside the G17 Gen6 and G45 Gen6 at SHOT Show 2026. MSRP is $745, matching the Gen5 MOS price while including optics capability as standard. The single recoil spring assembly is a deliberate design regression that Glock determined was no longer needed. The new palmswell design provides a more ergonomic grip without backstrap inserts. Width is 34.4mm, slightly wider than Gen5's 34mm. All Gen6 models ship optics-ready with three polymer adapter plates as standard equipment.
Background
The G19 Gen6 represents Glock's acknowledgment that the compact pistol market has evolved. With competitors offering flat-face triggers, factory optics cuts, and ergonomic refinements for years, the Gen6 G19 brings Glock's most popular model fully into the modern era. The 570g weight makes it competitive with polymer pistols half its size, while maintaining the 15+1 capacity and legendary reliability that made the G19 the world's benchmark compact.
