Primary Caliber: .40 S&W
The Glock 23 is a compact, striker-fired pistol chambered in .40 S&W, introduced in 1990 as the .40-caliber counterpart to the Glock 19. Sized between the full-size Glock 22 and the subcompact Glock 27, it became one of the most widely issued law enforcement duty pistols of the 1990s and 2000s. The Gen5 model adds the Glock Marksman Barrel, a flared mag-well, an ambidextrous slide stop, and the rough-textured Gen5 frame with finger grooves removed.
