The G32 is dimensionally identical to the Glock 23 (.40 S&W) and Glock 19 (9mm) in external dimensions, differing only in barrel, breech face, and extractor. The shorter barrel produces slightly lower velocities than the full-size G31 but still delivers significantly more energy than comparable 9mm or .40 S&W loads. The .357 SIG's bottleneck case design provides exceptional feeding reliability. The G32 has been discontinued as part of the broader industry shift away from .357 SIG.
Background
The Glock 32 was often the recommended choice for plainclothes detectives in agencies that issued the full-size G31 to uniformed officers, providing the same caliber interoperability in a more concealable package.
