Notes
The G41 Gen4 MOS uses the same adapter plate system as other Gen4 MOS models, supporting Trijicon RMR, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, C-More STS, and other popular optics footprints. The MOS variant adds minimal weight (approximately 2 grams for the machined optic cut and cover plate). The G41 MOS remains Gen4 only -- no Gen5 version has been produced, making it one of the few Glock models still exclusively in Gen4 configuration. This reflects the niche nature of the .45 ACP competition market.
Background
The G41 Gen4 MOS was Glock's acknowledgment that even .45 ACP competition shooters were embracing the red dot revolution. In IDPA's Custom Defensive Pistol division, the G41 MOS offered something no 1911 could match without expensive custom slide milling: a factory optics-ready .45 with 13+1 capacity and Glock reliability. While the .45 ACP competition market has shrunk, the G41 MOS remains the only factory optics-ready competition .45 from a major manufacturer.
