Notes
The V-series designation differentiates the international Gen6 models. The V-series shares identical mechanical specifications with the Gen6 models but may have region-specific markings or compliance features. The G45 V was announced alongside the G17 V, G19 V, and G49 V as part of the international Gen6 rollout. All V-series models include the same three polymer optic mounting plates supporting RMR, Shield/DeltaPoint Pro/Holosun K, and C-More footprints.
Background
The G45 V represents Glock's strategy to deploy the Gen6 platform globally under a unified V-series designation. While the domestic market receives Gen6-labeled models, the international community gets the V-series with identical specifications. For the G45, which had already proven itself with the French National Police and countless European agencies, the V-series upgrade was a natural evolution -- delivering the ergonomic improvements that competitors had offered while maintaining the crossover configuration that agencies had come to depend on.
