Overview

The GP Arms Patriot 4.1 is a semi-custom double-stack 1911-pattern pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, manufactured by GP Arms in East Tennessee, USA. Built on a milled Picatinny-railed frame with an ergonomic injection-molded polymer grip module, the Patriot 4.1 features a 4.1-inch match-grade bull barrel, ambidextrous thumb safeties, a flat skeletonized aluminum trigger with a 3.5-4 lb pull, and a full-length one-piece .250-inch solid steel guide rod with a flat wire chrome silicon recoil spring. The slide is machined from 416 stainless steel with optics-ready cuts compatible with RMR, RMSc, and Delta Point Pro footprints, as well as lightening cuts for reduced reciprocating mass. The standard magazine is an MBX Extreme 9mm Defender series 126mm holding 20 rounds, with an optional 22-round 140mm magazine available. Available in aluminum (28.5 oz) or steel frame (33 oz) configurations, the Patriot 4.1 is positioned as a competition-ready yet carry-capable double-stack 1911 starting at $1,950. Frame finish options include anodized aluminum (clear or black) and Cerakote (Burnt Bronze, FDE), while barrel options include standard bull, ported bull, or threaded variants.
