Overview
The Grendel P30 is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire, designed by George Kellgren and produced by Grendel Inc. from 1990 to 1994. It used a simple straight blowback action aided by a fluted chamber to ease extraction, and fed from a slim 30-round Zytel polymer magazine housed in the grip. Lightweight thanks to its Zytel polymer construction, the P30 was an early Kellgren design that directly foreshadowed the later Kel-Tec PMR-30.

Notes
Offered with a 5-inch or 8-inch (P30M) barrel. The 30-round capacity was unusually high for a pistol of its era and predates the visually similar Kel-Tec PMR-30 by roughly two decades.
Background
George Kellgren went on to found Kel-Tec, whose PMR-30 pistol revived the high-capacity .22 WMR concept first realized in the Grendel P30.
