Overview
The Grünig + Elmiger Racer is a Swiss single-shot bolt-action smallbore match rifle chambered in .22 Long Rifle, built by Grünig + Elmiger AG of Malters for ISSF and CISM three-position and prone competition. Built around the R3 barreled action, it pairs a 660 mm stainless-steel precision barrel with a ball-bearing double-pull match trigger adjustable from 50 to 200 grams and a highly adjustable aluminum stock (GO or K1 configurations) featuring a 3D-adjustable pistol grip, adjustable cheek piece and butt plate. The Racer series has taken numerous medals at the ISSF World Championships and World Cup level.

Background
Grünig + Elmiger traces its roots to a firearms workshop founded in 1922 by Walther Lienhard; his nephew Kurt Grünig and partner Heinz Elmiger took it over in 1962. The Racer series carried the company's name to the top of ISSF smallbore shooting, winning multiple World Championship medals.
