Overview

The Guncrafter No Name Government is a semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, built by Guncrafter Industries of Huntsville, Arkansas. A full-size, hand-fitted custom 1911 built on a forged steel frame and 5-inch forged steel slide, it serves as the foundation model from which the maker builds most of its higher-tier variants. The single-action, short-recoil action is fed by an 8-round detachable box magazine, and each pistol ships with a match-grade stainless steel barrel, tool-steel hammer, sear and disconnector, and Guncrafter's patented 90-degree 15 LPI checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing. A beveled magazine well, slide top serrations, and a choice of tritium, fiber-optic or bead front sights round out the package. Marketed as Guncrafter's entry-level custom 1911, the No Name Government pairs traditional John Browning single-action ergonomics with modern precision fitting for defensive and competition use.
