Overview
The Hämmerli AP40 is a single-shot, precharged pneumatic (PCP) match air pistol chambered in .177 (4.5mm) and designed for ISSF 10-metre air pistol competition. It features a fully adjustable synthetic or walnut grip, a low bore-line to minimise muzzle flip, an extensively adjustable two-stage match trigger (weight, length, rotation and angle), and a virtually recoilless firing cycle. Supplied with 200 bar compressed-air cylinders, it has been a mainstay of Olympic-level pistol shooting since the late 1990s.
