Overview

The Hämmerli AR20 is a precharged pneumatic (PCP) match air rifle chambered in .177 (4.5mm) and designed for Olympic-style 10-metre target shooting. Built around a fully adjustable aluminium stock carrier with a settable cheek piece, length of pull and butt plate, it pairs a Lothar Walther match barrel with a Walther aluminium air cylinder and pressure gauge that delivers roughly 350 shots per fill. A finely tunable two-stage match trigger and match diopter sights make it a popular ISSF and competition-grade single-shot rifle.

Background

Hämmerli, founded in Switzerland in 1863, built a reputation for precision target rifles and pistols that dominated Olympic shooting podiums for decades before the brand was absorbed into the Carl Walther / Umarex group. The AR20 carries that match-shooting pedigree into the precharged-pneumatic era.
