Overview
The Hatsan Escort is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun produced by the Turkish manufacturer Hatsan Arms Company. Chambered for 12-gauge shells, including 3-inch magnum loads, it uses a self-regulating gas piston that cycles a wide range of ammunition without manual adjustment. The Escort family is built around an anodised aluminium-alloy receiver with a steel bolt and barrel, fed from a tubular magazine, and is sold worldwide as an affordable, reliable workhorse for hunting, sport, and general field use.
