Overview

The Hatsan Escort SDX12 is a gas-operated, magazine-fed semi-automatic 12 gauge shotgun built around AR-15-style ergonomics. Made by Turkey's Hatsan Arms Company, it feeds from detachable five-round box magazines, has an 18-inch chrome-plated steel barrel chambered for 2.75-inch and 3-inch shells, and uses an aluminum alloy upper receiver with a synthetic lower, pistol grip, and a removable buttstock with an adjustable cheek rest. A detachable carry handle, Picatinny rails, and flip-up sights give it a modern tactical/sporting configuration.
