Also known as: Henry H012MX, Big Boy Side Gate X Model

Overview

The Henry Big Boy X Model is an American lever-action rifle chambered in .357 Magnum (which also fires .38 Special), manufactured by Henry Repeating Arms. A modernized take on Henry's classic Big Boy, the X Model swaps traditional brass and walnut for black synthetic furniture with M-Lok slots and a Picatinny rail, adds a 5/8x24 threaded muzzle for suppressors and muzzle devices, and combines a removable tubular magazine with a side loading gate so the seven-round tube can be topped off without removal. It features fiber optic sights, a large loop lever, a transfer-bar safety, and a receiver drilled and tapped for optics.

Background

Henry Repeating Arms revived the storied Henry name in the 1990s and built its reputation on traditional brass-framed lever guns; the X Model line was launched to bring the lever action into the tactical and suppressor era with synthetic furniture, accessory rails and a threaded barrel.
