Also known as: 4095, Model 4095-TS

Overview

The Hi-Point 4095TS is a budget-priced blowback-operated pistol-caliber carbine chambered in .40 S&W. Introduced in 2010 as part of Hi-Point's TS (Tactical Stock) carbine line, it pairs an inexpensive all-weather polymer skeletonized stock with a 17.5-inch threaded barrel, adjustable peep sights, and integrated Picatinny rails. Like all Hi-Point carbines it uses a simple blowback action and a single-stack magazine, making it one of the most affordable centerfire carbines on the American market.

Notes

Standard magazine capacity is 10 rounds. The barrel is threaded .578x28. The 4095TS is the .40 S&W member of Hi-Point's TS carbine family alongside the 9mm 995TS and .45 ACP 4595TS. Hi-Point carbines are noted for their low cost and lifetime warranty rather than refinement.

Background

Hi-Point's carbines became cult favorites among budget shooters precisely because they look unconventional and cost a fraction of name-brand pistol-caliber carbines, yet are backed by an unconditional lifetime warranty regardless of who owns the gun.
