Also known as: Hi-Point 4595, 4595TS Carbine

Overview

The Hi-Point 4595TS is a semi-automatic pistol-caliber carbine chambered in .45 ACP. Like other Hi-Point carbines, it operates on a simple direct blowback action using a heavy telescoping bolt, and feeds from a detachable 9-round single-stack magazine. It features an all-weather skeletonized polymer stock with an internal recoil buffer, fully adjustable peep sights, multiple Picatinny rails and a scope base for optics, a threaded barrel, a manual thumb safety, and a grip-mounted magazine release. Marketed as a budget-friendly, +P-rated carbine, it shares its design lineage with the smaller-caliber 995 (9mm) and 4095 (.40 S&W) models.

Background

Hi-Point carbines earned a reputation as inexpensive, no-frills firearms with a strong following among budget-minded shooters, and the .45 ACP 4595TS became a favorite for its low cost and lifetime warranty despite its bulky, heavy-bolt design.
