The Heckler & Koch MR308 A3 is a civilian and law enforcement semi-automatic precision rifle derived from the military HK417 platform. Chambered in 7.62x51mm NATO (.308 Winchester), the MR308 A3 retains the proven short-stroke gas piston operating system and cold hammer-forged, chrome-lined barrel of its military counterpart while being configured for semi-automatic fire only. The A3 generation introduced HK's slim-line HKey handguard system with NATO STANAG 4694 accessory rails, providing a modern and ergonomic interface for mounting accessories.
