Overview

The Huglu 200 ACE is a traditional side-by-side double-barreled 12 gauge break-action shotgun built by Turkey's Huglu Hunting Firearms Cooperative. It pairs a hand-engraved boxlock-style monobloc receiver forged from 4140 steel with a set of 71 cm barrels, 76 mm (3-inch) chambers, five interchangeable screw-in chokes, automatic ejectors, and a selective single trigger. Stocked in select Turkish walnut with a silk-matte oil finish, it is marketed as an affordable classically styled game and clay shotgun.

Weight and overall length are typical values for the 71 cm (28 in) barrelled 12-gauge configuration. Background

Huglu takes its name from the small mountain village in Turkey's Konya province where the gunmaking cooperative was founded in 1962, and where hundreds of local craftsmen still hand-engrave and finish its shotguns.
