Overview

The IMBEL MD7 is a Brazilian semi-automatic pistol chambered in .40 S&W, produced by IMBEL as part of its MD family of M1911-derived single-action handguns. It uses a steel frame and slide, a cold-forged heavy barrel, and a double-stack magazine holding 15 rounds, paired with a 20mm accessory rail for lights. Marketed primarily to sport shooters and the domestic restricted-use market, it is offered in LX and GC configurations, some fitted with a decocking system.
