Overview
The IOF .32 Revolver is a .32 S&W Long double-action revolver produced by the Indian Ordnance Factory (Ordnance Factory Board) from 1996, built at the Small Arms Factory in Kanpur. Weighing about 700 g with a six-round cylinder and fixed open sights, its design draws on the earlier British Webley and Enfield No. 2 service revolvers. It is marketed chiefly to licensed Indian civilians and personal-protection buyers as an affordable, domestically produced self-defence sidearm.

Notes
Developed around 1995 and entering production in 1996. The lighter Nirbheek variant, using an aluminium/titanium-alloy construction, was introduced as a compact personal-defence revolver aimed particularly at women. Barrel length and detailed ballistic figures are not consistently published by the manufacturer and are left null.
Background
Sold through Ordnance Factory outlets to licensed civilians, the IOF .32 became one of India's most accessible domestically made revolvers, and its lightweight Nirbheek spin-off was publicly launched in 2014 as a self-defence pistol marketed to women.
