Overview
The Ithaca Flues Model is a side-by-side, break-action double-barreled shotgun built on the hammerless boxlock action designed by Ithaca's Emil Flues. Lighter and cheaper to produce than the earlier Baker-pattern guns, it was offered across many grades and gauges and became Ithaca's best-selling double of its era. It was succeeded in 1926 by the heavier, stronger New Ithaca Double (NID).

Notes
Often considered slightly delicate compared with the later NID, especially in higher-stress chamberings. Made in 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge as well as .410; 12-gauge was the most common.
Background
Designed by Ithaca's own Emil Flues, this slim boxlock double sold over 200,000 guns and kept the company solvent, before being retired for the beefier New Ithaca Double when shooters demanded a stronger frame.
