Overview
The Izhmash IZH-46M is a Russian single-shot, single-stroke pneumatic match air pistol chambered in .177 (4.5mm) and built for the ISSF 10-metre air pistol event. Charged by a single forward stroke of an under-barrel cocking lever, it feeds one pellet at a time through a hammer-forged, 12-groove rifled barrel. The pistol features a highly adjustable match trigger, click-adjustable target sights, and an orthopedic grip, making it a popular budget-priced entry into Olympic-style precision air pistol shooting.
