JP Enterprises · Sniper Rifle · In Production · 2015
Also known as: LRP-07, JP LRP-07, JP Long Range Precision
Overview
The JP Enterprises LRP-07 (Long Range Precision) is a competition-grade semi-automatic precision rifle designed from the ground up for long-range accuracy. Built on JP's proprietary semi-monolithic upper receiver platform, the LRP-07 features a side-charge billet receiver set, JP Supermatch barrel, and the company's acclaimed Low Mass Operating System (LMOS) that dramatically reduces bolt carrier weight and reciprocating mass for minimal felt recoil and faster follow-up shots. Available in both 6.5 Creedmoor and .308 Winchester, the LRP-07 is a dominant force in semi-automatic precision rifle competitions, routinely delivering half-MOA accuracy. The rifle's adjustable gas block, thermal dissipator, and Silent Captured Spring system combine to produce one of the smoothest-cycling AR-10 platforms available.

Notes
The LRP-07 is built to order by JP Enterprises in Hugo, Minnesota, with extensive customization options including barrel length, contour, caliber, and finish. The Low Mass Operating System (LMOS) reduces carrier weight by approximately 50% compared to a standard AR-10 bolt carrier group, which significantly reduces felt recoil and bolt bounce. The JP Silent Captured Spring (SCS) replaces the standard buffer and spring assembly, eliminating the characteristic 'sproing' noise and vibration. The thermal dissipator is a finned aluminum sleeve that accelerates barrel cooling. Competition shooters regularly achieve 0.5 MOA or better with match ammunition.
Background
JP Enterprises founder John Paul is widely credited with pioneering many of the innovations that define modern AR-pattern precision rifles, including adjustable gas blocks, low-mass bolt carriers, and thermal dissipators. The LRP-07 represents the culmination of decades of refinement, and its dominance in semi-auto precision competitions has made 'JP' synonymous with AR-10 accuracy.
