The Kalashnikov USA KR-9 is an American-made, semi-automatic 9x19mm rifle based on the Russian PP-19-01 Vityaz submachine gun. It uses a closed-bolt blowback action with an out-of-battery safety mechanism and feeds from steel-lined polymer magazines.
