Kalashnikov USA KR-9
Kalashnikov USA · Rifle · In Production · 2020
Overview
The Kalashnikov USA KR-9 is an American-made, semi-automatic 9x19mm rifle based on the Russian PP-19-01 Vityaz submachine gun. It uses a closed-bolt blowback action with an out-of-battery safety mechanism and feeds from steel-lined polymer magazines. The 16.25-inch barrel keeps it rifle-legal without NFA paperwork, is threaded 1/2x28 and ships with a flash suppressor. A skeletonized Vityaz-style triangle side-folding stock collapses the rifle to 25.25 inches, and a hinged top cover carries a Picatinny optics rail.
