Kalashnikov USA KR-9 SBR

Kalashnikov USA · Carbine · In Production · 2020

Overview

The Kalashnikov USA KR-9 SBR is the short-barreled-rifle variant of the KR-9, an American-made 9x19mm carbine based on the Russian PP-19-01 Vityaz. It pairs a 9.25-inch threaded barrel with the skeletonized triangle side-folding stock, collapsing to just 18.25 inches folded - shorter than an MP5A3 with its stock retracted. The closed-bolt blowback action includes an out-of-battery safety, and the muzzle is threaded 1/2x28 with a factory flash suppressor. As an SBR it requires NFA registration and ATF approval.
