Kel-Tec PR57

Also known as: PR-5.7, PR-57, Kel-Tec PR-5.7

Overview

The Kel-Tec PR57 (also styled PR-5.7) is an ultralight 5.7x28mm pistol introduced in 2024 that dispenses with a detachable magazine entirely. Instead, 20 rounds load directly into the grip through a top-loading internal magazine, fed one at a time or via included 10-round stripper clips. A rotating-barrel locking system keeps the gun slim and light, and at roughly 13.86 oz unloaded Kel-Tec markets it as the lightest 5.7mm pistol on the market. The slide is optic-ready and the controls are ambidextrous.

Background

Kel-Tec, known for unconventional designs, answered the 5.7mm carry craze with a pistol that has no removable magazine at all - the entire 20-round payload loads into the grip from the top like a fixed-magazine rifle, allowing an exceptionally slim and light package.
