Also known as: SUB CQB, SUB2000 CQB Defender

Overview

The Kel-Tec SUB2000 CQB is an integrally suppressed evolution of the folding SUB-2000 pistol-caliber carbine, introduced in 2024. It pairs Kel-Tec's signature fold-in-half design with a permanently integrated suppressor: a 16.2 in (410 mm) baffled barrel with only 4.25 in (108 mm) of rifling and a user-serviceable, removable end cap. Chambered in 9x19mm and feeding from Glock-pattern magazines, it folds down to roughly 16.25 in for transport and is marketed as the first integrally suppressed carbine that folds in half.

Notes

The integral suppressor is built in-house as a single barrel/suppressor unit. Folded length of ~413 mm makes it exceptionally compact. Ships with a Magpul Glock 17 magazine and a Kel-Tec magazine sleeve for Glock 19 grip geometry.

Background

Because its 16.2-inch barrel retains 4.25 inches of rifling, the SUB2000 CQB ships as an ordinary rifle rather than a short-barreled rifle, sidestepping the SBR paperwork most folding carbines this compact would require.
